Google Calendar (Administrator)

Learn how to integrate Google Calendar for administrators in Nexudus.

Any full unrestricted administrator in Nexudus can connect the Bookings calendar to their Google Calendar account.

The integration with Google Calendar automatically synchronizes bookings made in either calendar, meaning every booking you create in Nexudus is added to the relevant Google calendar and every booking created in Google Calendar is added to the Bookings calendar in Nexudus.

You don't need to worry about double-booking as Nexudus automatically checks for conflicting bookings in Google Calendar before synchronizing them.  The Google Calendar integration is also another way to integrate other booking providers such as a LiquidSpace.

What You Need to Integrate Google Calendar 

  • A Google account
  • A full unrestricted administrator account in Nexudus 

Integrating Google Calendar

Integrating Google Calendar with Nexudus is a simple two-step process.

Step 1. Creating Calendars for Your Resources in Google Calendar

You need to create dedicated calendars for your resources in Google Calendars. Each resource you want to connect needs its own individual calendar. You need an individual calendar per resource in your space to allow simultaneous bookings for different resources, which wouldn't be possible if all resources were pooled in a single calendar.

For example, you need to create 4 different calendars in Google calendars if you have 4 meeting rooms. 

  1. Log in to your Google Calendar account.
  2. Click the plus icon in the bottom left corner of the page. 
  3. Click Create New Calendar.
  4. Name your calendar after the resource you want to link.
  5. Click Create Calendar.

Repeat the process for every resource that you want to synchronize. 

We recommend you give access to theses calendars to all staff members who handle bookings. This will allow them to add and edit bookings from Google Calendar as well.

  1. Click the three dots icon next to the calendar you want to share. 
  2. Click Settings and Sharing.
  3. Click Add People in the Share with other people section.
  4. Add the relevant staff members.
  5. Select Make changes and manage sharing from the drop-down menu.
  6. Click Send.

Repeat the process for every calendar that you want to share. 

Once you've created a calendar per resource and shared the calendars with relevant staff members in Google Calendar, you are ready to enable the integration in Nexudus.


Step 2. Enabling the Google Calendar Integration in Nexudus

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .
  2. Click Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar.
  3. Click Connect with Google Calendar.
    You are redirected to a Nexudus login page.
  4. Log in to your Google account.
  5. Click Allow when Google prompts you to let Nexudus access your calendars. You can revoke this access at any point from

  6. Select the matching Google calendar for each resource in the Synchronize with Google Calendar column.
  7. Click Save Changes.

You've successfully enabled the Google Calendar integration in Nexudus. All bookings made in either platforms will automatically be synchronized. 
Calendar synchronization only applies to future bookings which means all past bookings will remain in their respective calendars.

Adding Bookings Using the Google Calendar Integration

  Booking start and end times have to be set in 15-minutes increments.

For example, the start or end time for a booking can only be 8:00, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 9:15, etc.

To make a booking from Calendar, you just need to make sure that you've selected the right calendar from the list, as highlighted below.


When you make a booking from any of the resource calendars in Google Calendar, Nexudus automatically tries to match the email of the first guest to a customer in Nexudus.

If the systems finds a customer email that matches the guest email, the booking is assigned to the customer.

If the system can't find a customer email match, the booking is synchronized in Nexudus, but the booking won't be allocated to a customer until you manually add a customer to the booking. 

Adding Bookings from Nexudus

Once you've completed integration, any new booking for any of the linked resources made by a customer will also appear in Google Calendar. Any edits made to bookings in Nexudus will also automatically update booking in Google Calendar.
