Ezeep

Learn how to integrate Ezeep with Nexudus.

Ezeep is a cloud-based printing system that lets your customers print in black & white and in color. You can include printing credits in plans or charge customers per print.

Requirements to Integrate Ezeep

Before you can integrate Ezeep with Nexudus, you need to make sure some requirements are met. The three requirements below detail what you need to do prior to starting the integration process.

Requirement 1 - Create an Ezeep Account

You need an active Ezeep account with connected printers before you can integrate Ezeep with Nexudus. We recommend you visit their website or get in touch with them via their contact form. Ezeep will help you set up your account and connect your printers.

If you manage more than one location, you will need to create an Ezeep account for each location. If you have three locations, this means you'll need to create three Ezeep accounts and repeat the integration process for each of your locations in Nexudus.

Requirement 2 - Create Two Products for Printing in Nexudus

You need to create two products dedicated to printing in your Nexudus inventory: one product for color printing and one product for black & white printing. These products are what will allow you to charge your customers for their print jobs.

  1. Log in to your Nexudus account if you aren't logged in.
  2. Click on Inventory > Products.
  3. Click on Add product.
  4. Name your printing product. Make sure the product name is clear, for example Printing color or Printing b&w.

  5. Add a description to your printing product.

  6. Add the amount you want to charge your customers per page printed in the Price field. If you don't want to charge your customers for printing, leave the price at 0.00.

  7. Click Save.

You now have one printing product set up in your inventory. Repeat the same process for the second printing product. Once you've created both printing products you can move to the next step.

Requirement 3 - Create a Credit Type for Printing in Nexudus

You need to create a credit type dedicated to printing in your inventory. This printing credit can then be added as a benefit to plans and products. For example, customers signed up to a plan have 20 printing credits that let them print 20 pages every time their plan is renewed.

  1. Log in to your Nexudus account if you aren't logged in.
  2. Click on Inventory > Printing Credit Type.

  3. Click Add printing credit type.

  4. Name your printing credit. Make sure the credit name is clear, for example Printing Credit or Credit for Printing.

  5. Click on the dropdown menu and select all the resource types available in your space.

Testing the Ezeep Integration

Once you've created both policies and completed the three steps of the integration process, we recommend you test the integration to make sure everything works properly. All you need is a test customer account linked to an email address that you can access.

Log in to Ezeep through the invite sent to the account when you synchronized it with Nexudus.

Click on Print now in the navigation panel and select a file to print. Select the printer you want to use and click on Print.

Go to the test customer account in Nexudus and click on the Sales tab. The file you just printed in Ezeep should appear as a product added to the test customer's Nexudus account.

Printing Using Ezeep

Customers can print with Ezeep from the dahsboard of their Ezeep account. They should have received an email invite from Ezeep when you synchronized your Nexudus customer list with Ezeep in step 2 of the integration process.

All they have to do is log in to their Ezeep account and click on the Print now section of the navigation panel. They need to select the files they want to print, the printer they want to use, and click Print. A confirmation message will then appear on screen and their print job should start.
