Nexudus offers extensive default details fields to build customer records. However, there are times when you may want to include specific details to add to your . For example, there is no standard field for eye colour, assuming that you wanted to record this. You can add up to ten custom fields, which can be displayed on the space sign-up form, on the directory or on the member or contact's profile. You can also use the Yes/No and Options menu custom fields to allow the users of your spaces website to filter the member directory (see the Directory option in the table below).

To add a custom field
If you have multiple locations within the same Network the custom field has to be set up within the Network location. All custom fields are shared across the Network.

In the side menu, click CRM, then click Custom Fields.

Click Add custom field.

Complete the required fields (see the table below for a description of each custom field option).

Click Save.

Name |
Enter a name for the custom field. Customers will see this field if you make it part of their profile |
Location |
If you manage more than one space from your Nexudus account, select from the drop-down list the location of the space that is going to use the custom field |

Custom fields are used for members and contacts |
Field type |
Select a field type from the drop-down menu. This determines what data can be entered in the field. For example, if you want the field to store dates of birth, select the date field. The options available are:

Place field in tab |
This option determines where the custom field will be displayed on the member or contact's account on the dashboard. Choose the area where you want it to be displayed from the drop-down menu. |
Display order |
This field sets the order that the custom fields are displayed on the space website. Lower values (0) appear at the top of the list |
Profile & sign-up forms |
In this section you can choose where the custom fields will appear on the space website. You can select one or more of these options:

Directory |
This section lets you show the custom field in the directory integrated on the space website on your Nexudus account. You can select one or both of these options:

To edit a custom field

If the side menu is not visible, click

In the side menu, click CRM, then click Custom Fields.

In the list of custom fields, click the name of the one to edit.

Make the necessary changes (see the table above).

Click Save changes.

To delete a custom field

If the side menu is not visible, click

In the side menu, click CRM, then click Custom Fields.

At the end of the custom field you want to delete, click
. A pop-out menu is displayed.

Click Delete.

To view information from the custom fields
You can view the information collected from the custom fields on each member or contact's page. If you want to view all custom fields information in one place, you need to download a full list in an excel file.
- If the side menu is not visible, click
.
- In the side menu, click Operations then Members and Contacts.
- Select all the customers you want to include.
- From the side menu, select Export all.
