Opportunities

What is an Opportunity?

An opportunity represents a potential customer, a business lead. Nexudus CRM tools allow you to add your opportunities directly to the system, but also to automate your onboarding processes with CRM boards so that you can easily keep an eye on your potential clients' progress from the initial contact to a full membership.  

To add an opportunity: 

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .

  2. In the side menu, click CRM, then click Opportunities. The list of opportunities is displayed.

  3. Click Add Opportunity.

  4. Complete as many of the fields as required (see descriptions in the below). The buttons at the bottom expand to reveal additional fields.

  5. Click Save.

  As an alternative to the first 3 steps in the process described below you can click a CRM board to see Create new opportunity links in each stage. You can then click the link in the appropriate stage.

Option

Description 

Contact

Type the starting letters of the contact and select from the drop-down list that is displayed. If you want to add a new contact, type the name in full and click Add [new name] at the top of the drop-down list.

Team / Group

Type the starting letters of the team or group and select it from the drop-down list displayed. If you want to add a new team or group, type the name in full and click Add [new name] at the top of the drop-down list.

Stage

In the drop-down list, select the stage of the CRM board you want to add the opportunity to. The list displays all stages in all CRM boards.

Hint: If you create a new opportunity directly in a CRM board stage (column), this field is pre-populated.

Category

Type the starting letters of the category and select from the drop-down list that is displayed. If you want to add a new category, type the name in full and click Add [new name] at the top of the drop-down list.

Status

In the drop-down list, select In Progress. You can set the status to either Won or Lost later on.

General notes

A free-form box to add useful notes.

Source

A list of opportunity sources from which you can select.

Follow up by

If required, select a follow-up date from a popup calendar.

Value

If required, add an opportunity value.

Agent

If you want to assign an agent as the manager for this task, select them here. To do so, type the starting letters of their name, then click their name when it appears.

Owner

By default, you will be selected as the owner of the task. To change this, start typing a different name and select it from the drop-down list

Referrer

If required, type the starting letters of the referrer and select it from the drop-down list displayed. If you want to add a new referrer, type the name in full and click Add [new name] at the top of the drop-down list.
