Managing Floor Plans

Learn how to add and edit floor plans in Nexudus.

When creating the a floorplan preferably you must have an image of the architectural sketch, having this will make the visualization of your space much simpler. Once the floor plan is created you can create and arrange the different items that make up that particular floor.

For example, if your location has three floors, you can add three-floor plans called First Floor, Second Floor and Third Floor to define the layout of each of them.

You can ask Monika how to add a floor plan.

Adding a Floor Plan

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click

  2. In the side menu, click Inventory, then click Floor Plans.

  3. Click Add new floor plan.

  4. In the Name box, type a name for your floor plan.

  5. In the Background image section, click Upload image and navigate to a drawing of the location you want to upload.

We recommend you start with a 1920x1080px resolution and increase the dimensions if the floor plan appears too pixelated.
Keep your floor plan under 4000x4000px to avoid unnecessarily long loading times.

  6. Select 20% as a Background Scale
If you upload a significantly larger or smaller image for your floor plan, you may need to tweak this value for optimal display.

  7. Click Save.
