Creating Document Templates

Learn how to create document templates in Nexudus. 

You can create documents templates in three different formats: 

We recommend you pick the Word output format as it is the easiest to work with and provide a lot of flexibility with our an in-app Document Template Editor integrated with Microsoft Word. 

Creating Word Document Templates

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .
  2. Click CRM > Document Templates.
  3. Click Add Document Template.
  4. Add a name for your template in the Template Name field.
  5. Select your space from the Location dropdown list. 
  6. Select Microsoft Word from the Output Format field. 
  7. If you want to upload a Word document you already have, click Upload File and select the file from your device.
  8. Click Save.

You've successfully created your new document template. You can now edit the document template or customise it with dynamic fields: 

Creating RTF Document Templates 

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .
  2. Click CRM > Document Templates.
  3. Click Add Document Template.
  4. Add a name for your template in the Template Name field.
  5. Select your space from the Location dropdown list. 
  6. Select RTF from the Output Format field. 
  7. Add and format the document template content in the Document Field.
  8. Click Save.

You've successfully created your new document template.

Creating HTML Document Templates 

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .
  2. Click CRM > Document Templates.
  3. Click Add Document Template.
  4. Add a name for your template in the Template Name field.
  5. Select your space from the Location dropdown list. 
  6. Select HTML from the Output Format field. 
  7. Add and format the document template content in the Document Field.
  8. Click Save.

You've successfully created your new document template.
