About proposals

How to use proposals with potential customers.
You can use a proposal to allow your potential customer to preview the details of a future contract. The potential customer can then accept or reject the proposal. One or more contracts or products can be added to a proposal.
The proposal status helps you track whether your proposal has just been created, if it has been sent to a potential customer or if the potential customer has accepted or rejected it.




You added a new proposal


Your newly added proposal was sent to a customer


A customer accepted your proposal


A customer rejected your proposal

  Note: When a customer accepts a proposal, the proposal is automatically converted into a contract with the same details and associated products.
